Myfield Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Myfield websites, software, and related services ("Services"), including current and future products in the Myfield product family, provided by OPENTECH AI PTE. LTD. ("Myfield", "we", "our", or "us").

By using Myfield Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Overview of Myfield

Myfield is operated by OPENTECH AI PTE. LTD. Myfield builds local-first products and infrastructure for user-controlled digital spaces.

Myfield products may be delivered through browser extensions, web apps, mobile apps, desktop apps, APIs, or other clients. Turn Field is one current product in the Myfield product family.

2. Local-First Use

Myfield Services are designed to keep user content local by default. Local features may be used without a traditional username, password, email address, or phone number.

Some optional features, including cloud-based, AI-powered, sync, publication, paid, or other authorized features, require access to Myfield services. These features are only used when you explicitly enable or invoke them, or when needed to provide a feature you have chosen.

You are responsible for the content you save, process, sync, publish, share, or submit through the Services.

3. Myfield Keychain and Authorization

Myfield may use a device-owned Myfield Keychain, passkeys, local cryptographic keys, device keys, or related authorization records to verify access to optional cloud features and encrypted sync.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device, passkeys, browser profile, operating system account, local storage, and recovery materials. If you lose access to local data, passkeys, devices, or recovery methods, some locally stored or end-to-end encrypted data may not be recoverable.

Myfield does not require a traditional account to use local-first features.

When encrypted sync is enabled, supported object payloads are encrypted before they are uploaded to the cloud sync service. The sync service is designed to store and relay encrypted object payloads rather than read plaintext user content, while still processing limited protocol metadata needed to route, store, authorize, and reconcile encrypted updates.

You are responsible for deciding whether to enable cloud sync or other cloud features for your data.

4. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

Myfield Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction. If you are under that age, you may not create a Myfield Keychain, use cloud features, or use the Services.

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by:

  • Violating applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempting to disrupt, overload, or compromise Myfield systems
  • Circumventing usage limits, quotas, authorization checks, billing controls, or security controls
  • Using the Services to process, sync, publish, distribute, or generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
  • Interfering with another user's use of the Services

Myfield may limit, suspend, or disable access to cloud features when necessary to protect the Services, prevent abuse, enforce limits, or comply with legal obligations.

5. Optional Features, Paid Features, and Quotas

Some Services may be free, experimental, usage-limited, paid, or subject to separate plan terms. If Myfield offers paid features, pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and plan details will be provided through the relevant purchase, billing, or product flow.

Myfield may set or change usage limits, quotas, storage limits, sync limits, AI limits, supported platforms, or available features over time.

Some features are optional, including AI-powered features. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use AI-generated results.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by the Myfield Privacy Policy:

https://myfield.one/privacy/

The Privacy Policy explains how Myfield collects, processes, protects, and limits use of information.

7. Changes to Services

Myfield may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services over time. We may also change limits, supported browsers, supported platforms, supported clients, or available features.

Where practical, Myfield will provide notice of material changes through the website, extension, app, release notes, or other appropriate channels.

8. Intellectual Property

Myfield Services, software, designs, names, logos, and related materials are owned by OPENTECH AI PTE. LTD. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of Myfield software, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

You retain responsibility for content you save, create, sync, publish, share, or submit through the Services.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on third-party infrastructure, browser platforms, application stores, AI providers, payment processors, or operating system features.

Myfield is not responsible for third-party services, policies, outages, platform behavior, model behavior, or provider changes outside Myfield's control.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Myfield does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, recoverable, or suitable for every use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myfield disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myfield will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, keys, access, profits, business, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

Myfield may suspend or terminate access to cloud features if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, create security risks, exceed limits, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continued service is no longer practical or lawful.

Local data stored on your device remains subject to your browser, device, operating system, application, and local storage controls.

13. Governing Law

Except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. Changes to These Terms

Myfield may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
